"Conductr is one of the few apps we know that you can use for real. It’s so easy to use that it seems like it was made for dumbs like us: plug & play!"

The Suicide Of Western Culture, or TSOWC, was born in 2010 in the outskirts of Barcelona, consisting of two guys sharing their love for lo-fi technology, electronic music, drones and post-rock with a punk attitude.

After “The Suicide Of Western Culture” (2010), “Hope Only Brings Pain” (2013) and a remixes compilation (2011), all of them on the Catalan label Irregular, TSOWC’s third album will be released in 2015 by no other than El Segell del Primavera, the Primavera Sound festival record label.

But beyond their highly acclaimed recordings, performing live is where the duet really kills it: krautrock-infused rythms, opressive textures and post-rock emotionalism melt with TSOWC’s unique visual imaginary; a video universe evoking religious simbolism, Spanish Civil War footage and a disturbing taste for everything eerie.

The Suicide Of Western Culture have toured internationally and have played in festivals like Primavera Sound, FYF Fest, Eurosonic, The Great Escape, SĂłnar, South By Southwest and the Canadian Music Week.
